JOB VACANCIES

We combine traditional craftsmanship with today’s cutting-edge technology and robotics. Our production is mainly serial production, where we constantly invest in new machinery and equipment. Our most typical jobs in production include various machining and operator tasks, finishing and assembly tasks, and packaging. We also have a wide range of specialist positions in marketing, sales, product development, method design, production development and management.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

A traineeship is a great opportunity to show off your skills, gain valuable work experience and network with the company. At Sako, you can put what you learn in training directly into practice and work in a unique environment that matches your training.

Our traineeships are typically in the fields of mechanical and production engineering (metalworking and machining) and various maintenance fields such as electrical, automation, mechanical installation and maintenance. We can offer apprenticeships for those who are further along in their studies.

We are constantly developing our activities, so we also have annual opportunities for graduates or final-year students, mainly in engineering.

You can send us an open application for a traineeship or a thesis. In your application, please tell us about your studies and background, as well as the dates for which you would like to apply.

The aim of TET training is to familiarise you with Sako as a company and how our work community operates. During your TET period, you will get to see our industrial production environment and work in a new environment, practising new things. Through the introduction, you might even find a subject you want to study.

In addition to the dates you would like for your TET period, you can tell us about your interests and possible career plans, for example, and we can then identify the most suitable environment for you.

Because of our industry, we only offer a few summer jobs each year, mainly in the maintenance department, packaging department or inventory. Orientation towards the technology, metal or maintenance sectors is considered an advantage for summer work.

Summer job vacancies are typically opened on our career pages early in the year. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
